- Location Data: To accurately match freelancers with local jobs.
- Payment Information: Processed securely via our third-party provider, Stripe. We do not store sensitive credit card details on our servers.
2. How We Use Information
The information we collect is strictly used to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the JobLinker marketplace.
- Facilitate direct communication between Job Providers and Freelancers.
- Process payments and payouts securely through our payment gateway.
- Enforce our terms of service and maintain platform security.
3. Data Sharing
JobLinker does not sell your personal data. We only share information in the following circumstances:
- With Other Users: Necessary details (such as first name and general job location) are shared between connected Job Providers and Freelancers to facilitate work.
- Service Providers: We share required transactional data with third-party processors like Stripe for payment handling.
- Legal Compliance: If required by law, we may disclose information to regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
4. Data Security & Retention
We implement strict, industry-standard security measures to protect your data. Your personal information is retained only for as long as your account is active, or as strictly necessary to provide our services, comply with legal/tax obligations, and resolve disputes.
5. Account & Data Deletion
You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time. You can initiate this process in two ways:
- In-App: Navigate to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.
- Via Web: If you no longer have the app installed, you can submit a secure deletion request through our web portal at:
